Dream

Don’t be afraid to dream,
For life will quickly pass.
But guard them with your soul,
They shatter just like glass.

One day you’re at the top,
No way you can be beat.
No way you can be stopped,
The world is at your feet/

Then things start to happen,
Events they just unfold.
You find yourself in limbo,
The world turns bitter cold.

The doors they all slam shut,
No one hears your knock.
Your mind one single thought.
If could just turn back the clock.

But you keep the dream alive,
For it’s all you’ve ever done.
And pray that someday soon,
The locks will be un-done.

Then one day it happens,
The dream becomes a fact.
Because you dared to dream,
Life is back on track.
