Some Day

Someday they won’t be needed,
These carnivals for help.
Someday the cure will come,
Their pain no longer felt.

As that time is not quite here,
We join in once again.
With others far and wide,
We lend a helping hand.

We share and have some fun,
Our hearts are filled with joy.
For every dime we raise,
Helps Jerry’s girls and boys.

So before you “just say no,”
I’ve neither money nor the time.
Remember all the children,
Who life has left behind.

For kids should be at play,
Not tied to molded steel.
They should laugh and ruan and jump,
Be free from chairs and cheels.

We can’t do it all alone,
That’s why we ask or you,
Let us work now all together,
Let us make a dream come true.
