Why does Obama hate blue collar workers?

You won’t see the above headline anytime soon in the New York Times or on the cover of Tina Brown’s new tabloid Newsweek but you should. Listen to his speeches and latest mantra of late and he’s doing everything possible to show his hatred of blue collar and yes, even the sacred UNION workers.

No I haven’t fallen down the rabbit hole or taken a trip to the Twilight Zone. I’ve just been listening with wonderment at the President’s latest push to demonize corporate jet owners and millionaires and billionaires.

Buuuuuut, buuuut, excuse me Mr. Caldwell, isn’t that what he’s SUPPOSED to do? Bash the rich and foment class warfare? How’s that hating blue collar workers?

Because my dear Corner cousins, those corporate jets and the jet setters who fly them are responsible for thousands upon thousands of good ol, hard working, grit in the nails, blue collar J.O.B.S.

At his press conference last week our Chief Demagogue baited Republicans with: “You go talk to your constituents and ask them, ‘Are you willing to compromise your kids’ safety so some corporate-jet owner can get a tax break?'”

Only problem with that statement is the only ‘tax break’ being given is five year depreciation instead of the standard seven years. And even that was approved by Obama in his 800 plus billion ‘stimulus’ bill.

Even more hypocritical is the fact that while the last Obama budge actually submitted adds over 9 TRILLION dollars of DEBT over the next decade, changing from five to seven years depreciation for jet purchases would add back to the treasury a whopping……..drumroll please………wait for it……..you’re gonna love this….

$3 billion with a B (no that’s not trillion with a T) over the same ten years.

Once again, our community organizing never worked a real job in his life Dear Leader has shown us just how worthless a Harvard degree really is.

According to the National Business Aviation Association: Business aviation contributes over $150 billion to the U.S. economy every year, and provides over 1.2 million high-wage, stable jobs. The vast majority of general aviation aircraft worldwide are manufactured, operated, serviced and maintained in the United States.

For the sake of political posturing, the President of the United States has decided to attack an industry that contributes 50 times in ONE YEAR, the amount of dollars his measly ‘tax break’ closure would reap in an ENTIRE DECADE.

For the sake of political posturing, the President of the United States has decided to attack an industry that does what his stimulus never did: provides high wage, U.S. jobs.

For the sake of political posturing, the President of the United States has decided his concerned not an ounce with the fact that his bashing is already sending ripples of setback to an industry still reeling from 9/11 and the recession. Ripples that will directly result in layoffs to the very blue collar and union workers he claims to care so much about.

This column could go on ad infinitum with example after example of how this President has put politics, power and personal pleasure ahead of any real concern for fixing the economic mess his policies have and continue to make.

How sad that at yesterday’s ‘tweetfest’ town hall, (where Obama AGAIN bashed the corporate jet industry) no one had the guts to put his ‘fairness’ mantra into a really ‘just’ question:

Please Mr. President, could you tell America just what exactly is “fair” or “just” about forcing your incompetence upon the tens of millions of us who actually knew better than to vote for you?

Mark Halperin got suspended for merely stating Obama acted like a dick. (A statement he was told would never go out over the air and a statement he apologized for within minutes.)

But while Halperin is still suffering the wrath of the White House (press secretary Jay Carney admits to calling MSNBC and expressing ‘displeasure’) for doing nothing but stating the obvious, there are tens of millions of Americans suffering real hardship for no other reason then a narcissistic, incompetent, D.I.C.K lied his way into the Oval Office.

H.L. Mencken once said: “People deserve the government they get, and they deserve to get it good and hard.”

The tragedy is that it’s not just the Kool-Aide drinkers getting it “good and hard”.
