Forget Unity, Obama Uses Osama Bin Laden For Campaign Prop

Using the killing of Osama Bin Laden for a campaign prop may be demeaning to the “office” of the Presidency, but to it’s current occupant, Barrack Hussein Obama it’s just par for the course.

In a May, 2011 interview with Steve Kroft of “60 Minutes” the President unequivocally stated:

“It is important to make sure that very graphic photos of somebody who was shot in the head are not floating around as an incitement to additional violence or as a propaganda tool,” said the president.

“We don’t trot out this stuff as trophies,” Mr. Obama added. “The fact of the matter is, this is somebody who was deserving of the justice that he received.”

And to add emphasis on the importance of not over publicizing the raid that killed Osama bin Laden:

In explaining his choice not to release the photo, Mr. Obama said that “we don’t need to spike the football.” He said that “given the graphic nature of these photos it would create a national security risk.” (Quote sources: Brian Montopoli/CBS NEWS/Poitical Hotsheet )

That was then, the video clip from NewsyPolitics is now.

In an yet another attempt to divert Americans from the economic woes Obama has brought to every dinner table in the country he and his campaign have put up a web ad entitled “One Chance” in which none other than “Mr. Honorable” (sarcasm) Bill, “blue dress” Clinton narrates that Obama “took the harder and the more honorable path…”.

While the entire world knows Clinton loves to take the “harder” path, the idea that Obama even knows how to pronounce “honorable” is a joke in itself. (Remember the “corPseman” debacle?)

But it gets worse.

Not satisfied with just “spiking the ball” and inflating Obama’s role in the mission, the ad goes on to suggest that Mitt Romney would not have made the “gutsy” call.

In typical Obama fashion, Axelrod and Co. uses a partial out of context quote from a Romney AP interview in 2007: “It’s not worth moving heaven and earth spending billions of dollars just trying to catch one person.” to imply that Romney’s executive skills are somehow lacking.

What Obama’s propaganda team doesn’t use is the very next sentence in which Romney continues: “It is worth fashioning and executing an effective strategy to defeat global, violent Jihad and I have a plan for doing that”.(Guy Benson, political editor of Townhall.com has the full context here.)

With an ego the size of Jupiter and skin thin as an onion, the Corner has warned that Obama will stop at nothing, no matter how low, no matter how disgusting, to pander up a vote here, a vote there to ensure his re-election.

So the next time a dwainbwain liberal demands: “You don’t have to like Obama, but you should respect the office” here’s your reply:

“I will, when he starts”.
