Aaron Alexis mentally snapped, but Obama/Dems helped stretch him

The main Drudge Report link this morning takes you to an NBCnews.com story with the headline:

Navy Yard shooter Aaron Alexis was ‘not happy with America,’ friend says

Reading in, you find the lady who had let Alexis stay in a room at her house, Kristi Suthametewkal summarizing:

“After he returned from a contract job in Japan in Nov. 2012, he didn’t seem as easy-going, though.

He felt like he had been cheated out of money from the contract and complained that he was mistreated because he was black, Kristi Suthamtewkal said.

“He felt a lot of discrimination and and racism with white people especially,” she said.

There was also a growing sense of entitlement and disrespect, she said. “He did have the tendency to feel like people owed him something all the time.”

He got annoyed when she couldn’t give him rides, and he started eating the couple’s food without permission, and ignoring her when she complained, she said. When her cats developed fleas, he was angry.

Mostly, though, she felt like he was fed up with the United States.”

Take a moment and take in the key words: “discrimination, racism, entitlement, disrespect, people owed”.

Can you think of any one person or any one political party over the past 8 years that has made those words and the feelings they inspire the cornerstone of their political philosophy and priorities?

Does the name Barack Hussein Obama come to mind?

The politicians: Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, Chuck Schumer, Hillary Clinton,

The race hustlers:  Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Benjamin Jealous, Eric Holder,

The political hacks:  David Axelrod, Stephanie Cutter, David Plouffe, Dan Pfeiffer, Van Jones, Valerie Jarrett

Each and every name belongs to but one political party.  And behind those names and embedded into that party a political machine pushing the message of envy, hate, entitlement and division like never before.

Gone are the Democrats of the Moynihan/Clinton mold.  Liberal in mind, but still American at heart.

The liberal side of Bill Clinton resisted like hell Newt Gingrich and the Republican Congress, but in the end, he came around and the result was a balanced budget and welfare reform that helped untold millions more than the current policy of just doubling food stamps and addicting the weakest among us to the drug of handouts and the squalor of living on the political plantation.  And Patrick Daniel Moynihan warned of the crisis to come in the African American community over 40 years ago.

Now consider President Obama.

He gave one speech in 2004 about “no blue states, no red states” and because he was as Joe Biden said “articulate and bright and clean and a nice -looking guy” he became the “storybook man” that the media propelled into the Oval Office.

With a resume thinner than Jack Sprat on a diet, an inexperienced, ill-prepared, and ill-tempered community organizer was swept into the Oval Office on an unprecedented wave of media praise.

His first term brought us $6 trillion in additional debt, some of the worst legislation to ever be signed into law, and a disrespect of the Constitution never before seen in American history.  His second term is shaping up to be even worse.

The Syrian debacle fully exposed the incompetence, Monday’s Navy Yard shooting laid bare the temperament.

With the Senate on lockdown, fellow citizens quite possibly still dying just two and a half miles away, Barack Hussein Obama gave not a second thought to continuing on with his pre-planned partisan political speech.

God tried to give him a hint with weather that forced the White House to move the event inside, but even God has now had to admit, he’s met his match.

No one, and I mean no one, stands in the way of Barack Obama and a chance to demagogue those who disagree with him.

To be fair, the President did open the event with “let me say a few words about the tragedy that’s unfolding..”.

And in the interest of fairness, you should also know that counting the words from the official White House transcript of the speech, Obama gave the American people exactly 317 words on the Navy Yard tragedy.

But fear not most dutiful supporters. Dear Leader was not distracted from his true purpose. He spent the next 3,490 words imparting statesmanlike comments such as:

I cannot remember a time when one faction of one party promises economic chaos if it can’t get 100 percent of what it wants……..are some of these folks really so beholden to one extreme wing of their party that they’re willing to tank the entire economy just because they can’t get their way on this issue?  Are they really willing to hurt people just to score political points?…….. But in case there’s any confusion, I will not negotiate

But the best line came when he actually had the gall to say:

Let’s stop the threats.  Let’s stop the political posturing.

Evidently he just can’t help himself. The most polarizing, divisive, politically motivated President in American history, standing in front of hand-picked political props, looked the American people in the eye and once again blamed all the problems on someone else.

The only good thing about Obama’s latest display of uncouth crassness is this time no one was watching.

For while the President of the United States was pushing his cheap political points, the rest of the country was praying for the Navy Yard victims and their families.

And on those victims, please take a moment to click through and read the profiles of the 12 victims put up by the New York Times.  Their moments are no more, we at least owe it to them to know who they were:
