Hello Hypocrisy

Well a “stimulus” bill has magically appeared out of conference and before long almost 800 billion of your newly printed tax dollars shall be re-distributed to Democratic pork farms across the country. In a truly bi-partisan part of the bill, there IS a $400 tax cut included for individuals and $800 for married couples. WOW, a whopping $8 bucks a week, where’s that Bentely brochure?

Yahoo has a summary breakdown:
I’m RICH, I’m RICH!

And if you’ve got some objections as to what’s in the bill, good old Charles Schumer, D-NY says not to worry because you “really don’t care”:

Not to be overshadowed by the silly little stimulus package, Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass, hauled bankers in front of his House Finance committee to day for a sound beating on how bad a job they were doing cleaning up the mess that he helped start. Check out his bemoaning the “lack of regulations” at aroudn 1:26 into the mumbling.

Talk about hypocrisy!

Here’s some video clips over the years of famous Democrats railing against Republicans for wanting to put some needed regulation on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Make sure you check out the 6:00 and 8:20 minute marks. Barney Frank at his best (worst) and even Bill Clinton admitting the Dems culpability.
