Friday Follies: Gay Mafia whacks another, idiots Moran and Perdue, Obama lies again and Hillary goes ‘post-partisan’

The Gay Mafia whacks another one, democrat Congressman Jim Moran whines that he’s not paid enough, Opie and Anthony weigh in on Obamacare, Hillary bemoans partisanship, Georgia Republican David Perdue illustrates arrogance is bipartisan, and Obama lies again. Yep, it’s Friday, yep it’s the Follies and yep:

”Tis that time once again when we take stock of the inane and foolish put upon us by those forced to navigate life with an amount of gray matter just slightly larger than that found in your average toad.”

#5 Could a Follies be complete without at least one reference the greatest folly of them all, Barack Obama? And this week’s entry is of course his pathetic cheerleader session about the new sudden “success” of Obamacare.

I won’t waste your time with line by line of Obama’s specific less than truthful statements but the most egregious was the last minute number that magically put Obamacare “sign ups” at just over the 7 million that the White House had previously said would be a number representing initial success.

Obama can only get to that number by counting everyone and anyone who has a plan in his/her shopping cart. Not paid, not confirmed, just a “yeh, I kinda like this one, I’ll get back to you”.

Reports and surveys are showing that somewhere between 10 and 20 percent of those who “choose” or “sign up” for a plan never actually follow through and actually pay and receive coverage. That drops the true gross number down to a high of 6.3 million or a low of 5.4 million.

Add in the fact that the administration will not release the all important demographic information and how many of the sign ups were actually forced sign ups by those who lost their coverage due to Obamacare mandates and you get to a realistic estimate that somewhere less than half of the President’s number are previously uninsured Americans.

The premise for Obamacare was that it was just pure evil not to want to give insurance to the tens of millions of uninsured Americans.

The entire monstrosity was built upon a foundation of lies and though the President had his little clap, clap session Tuesday, those lies are not going away and the pain is getting worse, not better.

Sirius XM’s “Opie and Anthony” talked about their own insurance cancellation papers that are resulting in a much different experience that that described in Obama’s celebration. From the CBSDC report:

“I’m a little annoyed today because I got my insurance cancellations yesterday,” Hughes said. “And I got kids and the wife that needed all that stuff.”

Hughes went on to say that he had “no issue” with his canceled health insurance and doesn’t “even know where to begin” with the new paperwork……….

……….Hughes described that he had “perfect health insurance” for himself and his family before it got taken away.

“Finally, after all these years, I had perfect health insurance and now I have to redo the whole thing. It’s ridiculous,” Hughes said.

Anthony Cumia chimed in talking about how he recently lost his health insurance too due to Obamacare and the mountain of paperwork he now has to deal with.

“The papers came in yesterday and I started looking through it. And then I’m like, ‘I think I can do this,’” Cumia explained. “And then it turned to you must include your corporate tax form number … Now this Obamacare thing is an IRS issue, so you need to supply tax documentation for your (expletive) insurance.”

Hughes responded: “I don’t know why we’re not having a revolution at this point.”

Keep your powder dry boys, it’s coming.

#4 Showing that she’s in full scale reinvention mode as she preps for her being anointed the Democrat’s 2016 Presidential nominee Hillary Cllinton dropped this pile of bovine excrement at the annual Women of the Word summit when the moderator asked Ms. Clinton to provide her thoughts on America’s future:

“There is just pure ideology, pure partisanship. We disguise a commercial interest behind a political facade and the result is that we’re kind of marching backwards instead of forward,”

Earth to all of you Hillary bots out there:

This is the same Hillary Rodham that was fired from the Democrat committee investigating Richard Nixon because…….wait for it……..drum roll please…….SHE was pushing the bounds of ethical behavior. This is the same Hillary who spewed forth her partisan venom against each and every victim of her husband’s sexual encounters and who thought nothing of firing the White House travel staff to install her own political cronies. And this is the same Hillary Clinton that after months of delaying her testimony on her roll in the Benghazi debacle that got 4 Americans killed smugly told the American people: “What difference, at this point, does it make?”

Of course if the Dems do appoint her as their candidate she will be wrapped in the message of “the first woman President” and “it’s time to move America forward”.

Yet the truth is, that all Hillary brings to the race is a train full of baggage, a list empty of any real accomplishments, and a partisan attitude that would polarize the American political process even worse than Barack Obama.

If that’s now the definition of “progress”, I want off at the next stop.

#3 While the Follies was created to highlight the massive amount of liberal lunacy destroying this country on a daily basis, it is not a Democrat only segment. #3 on the list this week comes from Republican primary candidate for Senate from the state of Georgia, David Perdue for attacking one of his fellow Republican opponents, Karen Handel for not having a college degree.

This quote of Perdue’s arrogance from the Atlanta Journal Constituion:

“I mean, there’s a high school graduate in this race, OK? I’m sorry, but these issues are so much broader, so complex. There’s only one candidate in this race that’s ever lived outside the United States. How can you bring value to a debate about the economy unless you have any understanding about the free enterprise system and how — what it takes to compete in the global economy?”

Yes, Mr. Perdue the U.S. must compete in a global economy. No Mr. Perdue that does not mean that the only people capable of being United States Senators today are those with college degrees.

For evidence of that obvious fact I present the current state of domestic economic issues as led by a supposed highly educated bunch of political elites in D.C. and the numerous fires burning around the world sparked by the incompetence of the so called “smartest” President of these United States.

I hold one of those college degrees myself, but I tell you Mr. Perdue, I’ve met more “just high school” grads that have more real world knowledge and applicable skills than you will ever have.

It’s exactly the elitist attitude that you espouse that has gotten this nation into its worst mess since the Carter years.

The AJC post continued with a statement from Handel campaign manger Corry Bliss:

“It is disappointing that David would demean someone who—by no fault of her own—moved out of an abusive home at age 17, and with her own hard work and determination, is the embodiment of the American Dream.

“Karen is an example of how, with great perseverance and sheer will, the circumstances under which you grow up do not dictate your ability to succeed.

“While David boasts about all the time he spent living in Europe and Asia, and all of the millions of dollars he intends to spend on this race, this election is about who conservatives can relate to and trust to get results in the United States Senate.”

Disappointing indeed. Handel may in the end still not win the May primary, but I certainly hope that whoever the Republicans in Georgia decide to put up for the November general does not carry the name David Perdue.

#1 and #1 Every once in a while two stories combine in one week to make a #2 and #1 separation implausible. This was one of those weeks and there is indeed a tie for #1. But what should not come as a surprise is that both stories come from deep blue bastions of “tolerance” and “intellect”.

The tolerance, or lack thereof, story comes from Silicon Valley and the ousting of newly appointed CEO of Mozilla Brendan Eich. Co-founder Eich’s transgression? Donating $1000 of personal money to California Prop 8 which banned gay marriage in the oh so tolerant state.

The rub of all this to your humble correspondent is that the whole flap was started by an obscure online dating site AND Eich made his donation in the very same year that the left’s hero, Barack Hussein Obama was also on record as being against gay marriage.

Hate to give Bill Maher any exposure but credit is due where credit is due. Real Clear Politics reports that in the online “Overtime” portion of his show admitted the existence of a gay mafia:

MAHER: What do you think about the Mozilla CEO having to step down over his donation to a pro-Proposition 8 group.

The Mozilla — which I’m wearing right now, by the way. I didn’t know what Mozilla was. I saw it on my computer, but — it’s Firefox, right? It’s the browser.

So this guy apparently does not want gay people to get married and he had to step down. What do you think of that, the question asks.

FMR. REP. TOM DAVIS (R-VA): Because he gave $1,000 eight years ago and it’s come back to haunt him.

CARRIE SHEFFIELD, FORBES: Well, and he gave it when President Obama was still against gay marriage. So, I don’t think it’s very fair.

MAHER: Good point. Also, I think there is a gay mafia. I think if you cross them, you do get whacked.

Rather ironic that the left is out with a big campaign against using the word “bossy” in regards to girl’s behavior while at the same time it has not problem one with the bullying promoted by the gay rights fanatics.

Andrew Sullivan, openly gay publisher of the Daily Dish put it this way:

“Will he now be forced to walk through the streets in shame? Why not the stocks? The whole episode disgusts me – as it should disgust anyone interested in a tolerant and diverse society. If this is the gay rights movement today – hounding our opponents with a fanaticism more like the religious right than anyone else – then count me out. If we are about intimidating the free speech of others, we are no better than the anti-gay bullies who came before us.”

On Friday’s Special Report, Charles Krauthammer agreed and expanded:

“[Andrew Sullivan] calls it disgusting,” Krauthammer said. “He’s absolutely right. This is totalitarian discourse, and it shows a level of intolerance that is absolutely — it should be unacceptable, and people ought to get what they’re giving out and field a counter-boycott”

The “intellect” story (or lack thereof) comes from the Atlantic coast, specifically the state of Virginia and one of its Congressmen, Democrat Jim Moran.

In an interview with rollcall.com, Moran actually went public with this moronic thought:

“I think the American people should know that the members of Congress are underpaid,” Moran told CQ Roll Call. “I understand that it’s widely felt that they under perform, but the fact is that this is the board of directors for the largest economic entity in the world.”

I don’t know what’s worse, the fact that this dolt doesn’t think it’s right that Congress is forced to get by on $174k a year (not counting member perks) or that he considers Congress as the board of directors of the American economy.

Any board of directors of ANY private corporation in the world would long ago have been fired for such pathetic performance as Congress has given it’s shareholders, the American people.

In his retirement Moran needs to read up on the Founders and the ratification debates on the Constitution. He’ll learn that Congress was never supposed to be a career and that it was to be considered a temporary service among many other life endeavors.

Moran and his fellow “board of directors” have given present generations a sprawling federal government that can’t wait to infringe upon one right after another and future generations a debt of $17 trillion and counting.

Some were shocked when theater goers across the country cheered when in the movie Independence Day the U.S. Capitol building was obliterated by the invading aliens. With idiots like Moran there it’s not so shocking at all.

In fact, that might be the only thing that saves us in the end. An invading alien army to wipe em all out en mass.

Hear that E.T.? I’m calling. For crying out loud, would you PICK UP THE DAMN PHONE!

As always, thank you all for reading, have a great weekend and I’ll see ya round the corner.

One Response to Friday Follies: Gay Mafia whacks another, idiots Moran and Perdue, Obama lies again and Hillary goes ‘post-partisan’

Not much to add here, really. #5 is obviously made up BS. Funny to me how they have no idea how many have enrolled, how many have signed up, how many have paid, until we’re close to the dealine and then VOILA! Suddenly we have it down to the decimal point! Uh, no. Even Democrats are laughing at this. Except for the media, of course, who dutifully grab their spoons and eat the shit up like good little lap dogs. Yum yum! 7.1 million! As though anyone would be surprised by an uptick of enrollees to a mandatory system… “Surprising news today when people who are f***ing required to enroll in something started to enroll in something…”

#4 needs no help from me. The fact she’s considered a viable candidate instead of detainee #3196209 is amazing to me. If there isn’t someone at every single campaign stop with a large picture of Ambassador Stevens, then we’re not doing our job.

#3 doesn’t surprise me. Some dude who got a Bachelors in Basket Weaving wil still try to throw that at the high school grad regardless what either have accomplished. I see that in my day to day life, and I hold a Masters. Disgusting.

I’d love to say #1 surprised me, but it doesn’t. Eqaulity was never what the ga rights advocates were after. It was recognition AND acknowledgment as a superior group. You simply must see things as they see them, or you are a homophobe who must be punished. Daring to disagree is simply not allowed. Anything les thatn 100% support is opposition, and cannot be tolerated. Tammy Bruce was surprised to find out that apparently she is no longer gay, nor is Andrew Sullivan, because they dared disagree with what happened to Eich. Sodomy Uber Alles!

Anyway, good list this week, as always!
