Jesse Jackson Heaps His Hypocrisy On Oklahoma

April 19, 2012

The REAL Jesse Jackson

The corporate extortionist extraordinaire, the “rev” Jesse Jackson heaped his hypocrisy on the state of Oklahoma yesterday with yet another one of his “activist” press conferences held with yet another “caucus”.

Using the Good Friday Tulsa shootings as an excuse for another of his self-promotion commotions Jackson announced that his Chicago based Rainbow PUSH coalition was setting up shop in Oklahoma to change gun laws and fight violence.

An Associated Press report in the Washington Post shows Jackson was in usual hyperbolic form:

The civil rights activist called the Tulsa incident a “terrorist attack” that sent “traumatizing waves of fear across Tulsa and the state.” “We cannot allow the terrorists to steal our dreams,” Jackson said.

Equating the two nut jobs that went on a random killing spree with “terrorists” stealing our dreams is pure Jackson:

Take an isolated incident, stir it up into something that it isn’t, swoop in to soak up the publicity and any money that can be made off the tragedy, and then fly back to Chicago and your 1 percent lifestyle.

Instead of lecturing Oklahomans, Floridians and everyone else it would be nice if just once he would stay home and start dealing with the very real crisis of violence occurring right in his own Chicago back yard. Through April 16th there have been 141 homicides reported in Chicago just this year alone. And here’s the real kicker for the “dear reverend”: 77 percent of the victims are listed as race: Black!

The Chicago Reporter recently reported that since 2008 more young people have been killed in Chicago than any other city in the country. And 80 percent of those deaths are in African-American and Latino communities.

Where’s the news coverage of Jesse and his buddy Al camped out on the steps of Chicago City Hall demanding “justice”? Where’s the video of the daily marches and rallies decrying the “terror wave” that is drowning the dreams of tens of thousands of Chicagoans trapped in the violence Jackson ignores?

Jackson and Sharpton have long ago been exposed for the frauds that they are but yet they are still treated by the minion media as “leaders” in their “communities”. (Sharpton still owes almost a $1 million in back taxes and debt .)

These two race baiting opportunists should have been ostracized and relegated to the dust bin years ago but because they fit the liberal narrative of “victim and entitlement” they’re promoted instead. Every word they spew, every rally they hold, every news conference they get covered just perpetuates the hate and stereotypes that divides us but it makes for good television drama so the media pushes it forth.

Much has been made of Obama’s election and the hope that by such America was finally entering a “post-racial” period of harmony among the colors.

Instead it has only gotten worse. Obama helped it along with appointments like Eric Holder and Van Jones but tis not his blame alone.

As long as the Jackson and Sharpton’s among us are allowed to hype their hate and hide it behind “racism” and “social justice” there will never be peace.

And the Corner submits peace among the races is the last thing these two and their minions want.

Peace brings no money. Peace brings no television cameras. Peace puts them out of work.

But most importantly, peace would take away their celebrity and with egos as theirs, that’s a price just too high to pay, no matter how many blacks are dying in the streets of Chicago.

You’re saying what I and a lot of others have been saying for years. You are exactly right. And the mainstream media (you might call ‘em the liberal media) are happy to provide the Jackson’s and the Sharpton’s of the world a soapbox.

It’s really unfortunate that they, the media, don’t give equal time to people like Bill Cosby. Cosby wrote a a book in 2007 called, “Come On People: On the Path from Victims to Victors,” with Harvard Sociologist Alvin F. Poussaint. They excoriate the Black community for feeling sorry for themselves, fore being
willing victims, and for playing the race card over and over ad nauseam.

Dr. King’s dream will never be realized as long the majority of Blacks are still using the tired old Orwellian maxim that all people are equal but some people are more equal than others. Respect is never given. It can only be earned.

For a short couple years I had hope that it was only a matter of time until these two and their ilk would soon succumb to their own mortality and all could finally start repairing the damage they did.
Unfortunately I now see a new generation of the Van Jones type picking up not only where they left off but taking it even further.
They are the worst of the worst. Parasites playing on the poor to line their own pockets and amass their own power.
At this point I do feel the only real hope is the fact that unlike what the Jackson’s, Sharpton’s and Jone’s put through their megaphones, more blacks today are seeing success in the “other” world then ever before and no longer buy into the scam.
But then again, the gangsta rap and anti societal sub culture seems to be as popular as ever today. You just can’t help those who aren’t willing to help themselves.
And the worst of it all is that there are probably far more than we’ll ever know who want to turn their lives around and don’t want the “victim” label but are so trapped by the violence and poverty cycle imposed upon them they’ll never escape.

I had dinner with some friends last night and the right, reverend, Mr., Dr.Jesse Jackson came up in the conversation. None of us had attended any of his “appearances” here in Tulsa the day before. But friend David pondered whether Jackson has said anything about the case of Nancy and Bob Strait. Back in March, a young black man, then aged 19, broke into the Strait’s home whereupon he sexually assaulted Nancy and then severely beat both of them. Nancy Strait died from her injuries. Bob Strait survived with a broken jaw and ribs and severe bleeding. An African-American in full “Fro,” Tyrone Woodfork was arrested and charged with felony first-degree murder, two counts of robbery with a firearm and first-degree burglary. He stole a 2001 Dodge Neon (seriously?), a 42-inch television and $200.

We wondered where the outrage was for this especially cruel and inhumane crime from the black community. Not a peep. Jackson was here to stir the pot over the so-called Good Friday shootings by two whites who killed three blacks. The two shooters were not only charged with murder, but with hate crimes too. After a little research, I did not find where the above-mentioned Tyrone Woodfork was also charged with a hate crime, which it clearly was. Can you spell hypocrisy boys and girls?

According to a syndicated article by Thomas Hargrove of Scripps Howard News Service dated April 19th, “Over the past 30 years, black-on-white murders rose from 6 percent of all homicides to 8 percent, according to a study of 550,000 homicide reports assembled by Scripps Howard News Service from FBI and local police reports. White-on-black killings rose from 3 to 4 percent. All other racial combinations rose from 3 to 5 percent.” Hargrove even researched inter-racial homicides in Oklahoma, writing, “There were 73 white-on-black homicides in Oklahoma in the 1980s and 81 from 2000-09. Black-on-white homicides rose from 81 to 138 during the same period.” Need I say any more?

If Jackson and Sharpton and their cronies want to call attention to interracial crimes, then the statistics argue that they should start in their own backyards. Otherwise, they have no credibility. Not with me anyway.
