Friday Follies: Democrats love affair with election fraud edition

October 31, 2014

Illinois voting machines switching votes, Rangel’s Republican slavery slam, Dem race baiting, and LaRaza promoting voter fraud…..but don’t worry the integrity of the voting process has never been stronger.

Welcome to Friday Follies, election 2014 edition where ”Tis that time once again when we take stock of the inane and foolish put upon us by those forced to navigate life with an amount of gray matter just slightly larger than that found in your average toad.”

#5 X marks the spot (or not): Rumor has it that without the Chicago machine stuffing some ballot boxes, John F. Kennedy would have lost Illinois. But Dems have nothing to fear as it seems they are quite capable of keeping up with the new technology to ensure they get every edge they can. From the Weekly Standard:

Two Illinois voters say their attempts to vote early for Republicans on an electronic voting machine were registered as votes for Democrats—and they say have the video evidence to prove it.

The voters are 18- and 19-year-old Moline residents who asked to remain anonymous. They say they went to their polling station on Monday, October 28, at the Moline Public Library. Both say they were aware of recent news stories that other early voters in their area had experienced difficulties voting on electronic machines. The complaints have been widespread.

The Republican House candidate for the area, Bobby Schilling, claims 20 supporters have called his campaign to say that their attempts to vote for him were switched to his opponent, Democratic congresswoman Cheri Bustos.

But not to worry folks. In every instance I’ve seen so far, the ever so apologetic (for getting caught) election official explains that it was just a “calibration error”.

If this keeps up I’m getting my Illinois real estate license so I can start selling them all vacation properties on the beach in Arizona.

#4 Have race card will bait. Sagging in the polls, afraid you’re precious power waning? Then it’s time to do what every good Democrat does when the going gets tough. Pull out the race card. From the Washington Times:

The spate of campaign fliers that use images of lynchings, Jim Crow laws and the recent racial unrest in Ferguson, Missouri, to urge blacks to vote in next week’s election somehow failed to grab the attention of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.

The NAACP headquarters in Washington wasn’t prepared to answer questions about the fliers and mailers circulated in black communities in Georgia, Maryland and North Carolina, despite widespread news coverage of it for the past week.

Isn’t amazing how the organization that has in its name as it’s main goal the ADVANCEMENT of colored people is the very same organization that year, after year, after year does everything possible to keep them on the Democrat plantation stuck in the destruction of poverty and victim-hood?

Not to be outdone by the NAACP, veteran race baiter Charlie Rangel went so far as to claim that some Republicans still believe in slavery. From Business Insider:

Veteran Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-N.Y.) had some harsh words for the Republican Party during a Thursday campaign rally for New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D).

As he has done repeatedly before, Rangel compared some members of the GOP to confederates from the Civil War era. But at the Thursday evening event, he added that they “believe that slavery isn’t over.”

#3 Democratic Group La Raza Caught Promoting Illegal Immigrant Voter Fraud Left wing sedition group La Raza can’t use the slavery argument on Hispanics so it takes a more direct approach. Just vote whether you’re legal or not. From the Gateway pundit:

The Daily Caller reported:

The pro-amnesty Hispanic activist organization the National Council of La Raza helpfully promoted a Washington Post article explaining which states people can vote in without having to use a photo ID.

“Voter ID laws are at-issue across the country, with newly Republican-controlled legislatures having passed them in numerous states after the 2010 election,” explained The Washington Post’s Aaron Blake. “Most states still request some form of ID, but don’t require it. Another 20 states don’t require identification. In case you’re wondering where your state is at in all of this, a helpful (sic) graphic from the Post’s graphics team.”

So who ended up using the Post’s helpful graphic? The country’s foremost pro-amnesty Hispanic immigrant organization………

……….If there was an effective opposition party in the US this far left group would actually face consequences for their illegal activity.

The legal, American citizen is really up against the wall right now. Between leftists demanding that they anyone who makes it across our border has a right to citizenship and Republican elites in the pocket of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Facebook/Google hypocrites demanding cheap labor, the odds seem overwhelmingly against us.

But if the Founders had the guts to go to war against the most powerful military might in their world at the time I’ve still got faith that enough of us can summon the courage to stand up and stop the insanity before it’s too late.

#2 North Carolina Democrat caught on video encouraging illegal voting The advantage the national party has gained by having illegals vote has not been lost local Democrat politicians. Greg Amick, is a campaign manager for the Democrat running for sheriff in Mecklenburg County. He got busted on video by James O’Keefe’s project Veritas. From the National Review story:

North Carolina features one of the closest Senate races in the country this year, between Democratic incumbent Kay Hagan and Republican Thom Tillis. So what guerrilla filmmaker James O’Keefe, the man who has uncovered voter irregularities in states ranging from Colorado to New Hampshire, has learned in North Carolina is disturbing. This month, North Carolina officials found at least 145 illegal aliens, still in the country thanks to the Obama administration’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, registered to vote. Hundreds of other non-citizens may be on the rolls.

A voter-registration card is routinely issued without any identification check, and undocumented workers can use it for many purposes, including obtaining a driver’s license and qualifying for a job……..

…Greg Amick: Here’s a couple of things you can do. You do not have to have your driver’s license, but do you have any sort of identification?

Project Veritas investigator: But I do have my driver’s license.

Amick: Oh, you do. Show ’em that and you’re good.

PV: But the only problem, you know, I don’t want to vote if I’m not legal. I think that’s going to be a problem. I’m not sure.

Amick: It won’t be, it shouldn’t be an issue at all.

PV: No?

Amick: As long as you are registered to vote, you’ll be fine.

And it is that attitude that is destroying America. As long as you’re going to vote Democrat and keep the government machine well oiled and fully fueled, all will be fine.

#1 Illegals HAVE and ARE voting: In an article that must be sending the far left into hissy fits, the Washington Post asks the question “Could non-citizens decide the November election?” and then goes on to show how YES they actually could. From the story:

Could control of the Senate in 2014 be decided by illegal votes cast by non-citizens? Some argue that incidents of voting by non-citizens are so rare as to be inconsequential, with efforts to block fraud a screen for an agenda to prevent poor and minority voters from exercising the franchise, while others define such incidents as a threat to democracy itself. Both sides depend more heavily on anecdotes than data.

In a forthcoming article in the journal Electoral Studies, we bring real data from big social science survey datasets to bear on the question of whether, to what extent, and for whom non-citizens vote in U.S. elections. Most non-citizens do not register, let alone vote. But enough do that their participation can change the outcome of close races………..

…………How many non-citizens participate in U.S. elections? More than 14 percent of non-citizens in both the 2008 and 2010 samples indicated that they were registered to vote. Furthermore, some of these non-citizens voted. Our best guess, based upon extrapolations from the portion of the sample with a verified vote, is that 6.4 percent of non-citizens voted in 2008 and 2.2 percent of non-citizens voted in 2010.

So what is a legal, patriotic American citizen to do?

For starters, click on this link for It’s the group started by Catherine Engelbrecht of Houston, Texas after volunteers witnessed voter fraud at their local polling stations.

And yes, if the name sounds familiar it is. She’s testified before Congress in the IRS scandal and appears regularly on shows telling her story and the danger to our democracy being promoted by the Democrat party.

After her group started having success in cleaning up voter roles and challenging illegal activity she got a letter from one of the Dems top enforcers Elijah Cummings with IRS and full force federal harassment for years to come.

From the website:

True the Vote was established in 2009, after a small group of volunteers worked at our local polls and witnessed firsthand both the need for well-trained election workers and blatant, undeniable acts of election fraud. Since then, we’ve continued to grow – and now we’re a national organization, providing comprehensive, state-specific programs of education, research, and support for volunteers in all 50 states. We have empowered fellow citizens, increased public awareness, advocated for continued election improvements and reforms, and spoken out about the misleading messaging of those who insist voter fraud does not exist. It does.

And just in case you STILL don’t believe there’s a problem, take a look at the Washington Post Voter ID graphic that LaRaza is using to promote illegal voting.

Out of our 50 states, only 7 require a photo ID while in 20 states you don’t need anything but your willingness to corrupt the system to cast a ballot.

Think about that for a minute the next time you hear all the racism and voter disenfranchisement screeching from the left.

There’s one reason and one reason only Democrats don’t want proof of citizenship and ID for voting: They’d LOSE.

As always, thanks for stopping by, have a great weekend and I’ll see ya round the Corner.
